Thank you to all who have contributed to the fund for the purchase of a new statue of St Anthony of Padua; we have hit the £2,000 mark, which means we are well on the way to being able to purchase something larger and of a higher quality than the statue which was destroyed in an act of vandalism.
On display in the place where our statue was there is a picture of a statue currently available for sale which costs nearer £10,000; this is an antique statue carved from wood and would stand at about 1.5 metres high.
