Celebrate the seasons of Advent and Christmas at St George's Cathedral with our schedule of special Masses and Services. A full listing is available to download below and to pick up from the back of the Cathedral.
The season begins with the First Sunday of Advent, on 1 December, when the first candle is lit on the Cathedral Wreath. This year we also will host a series of three Advent Talks on Friday evenings.

The annual Christmas Fair takes place in the Amigo Hall on the Second Sunday of Advent, 9 December from 1pm, which is a fun and festive event all parishioners to join in!
The annual Cathedral Carol Service, lead by Archbishop John Wilson, is on Thursday 12 December at 7.30pm. All are welcome so please invite family and friends to join us.
On Saturday 14 December from 10.15am to 5.15pm we will be holding ‘A Day with Mary’, which will include Mass, Adoration, confessions, devotions, sermons.
Our Children's Crib Service will take place at 3pm on Christmas Eve, Tuesday 24 December. Please bring your child dressed as a king, shepherd, or an angel.
Finally, join us for Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve to celebrate the Nativity of the Lord at the Cathedral. There are also a number of additional Masses and services on this day and during the Octave of Christmas, and up to Epiphany.
