The Solemnity of the Dedication of St George’s commemorates the original consecration of the Cathedral in 1894 and is an opportunity for us to gather as parish community and give thanks to God for this house of prayer.
Our celebration of the Solemnity of the Dedication of the Cathedral is on Tuesday 7 November. In addition to the usual weekday Masses, there will an additional Solemn Mass at 6pm on Tuesday 7 November, celebrated by Canon Edward Perera with the Cathedral’s Chapter of Canons.
Canon Michael will be installed as a Chapter Canon in this Mass.
