On New Year’s Day the Cathedral will open at 9.45am and there will be Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and confessions between 10 and 12.15am.
There will be a Solemn Mass of Mary, Mother of God at 12.30pm. The Veni Creator Spiritus will be prayed, for which a plenary indulgence may be gained under the usual conditions. The 6pm Mass will be the Vigil Mass of Sunday.
