On Thursday 18 May we celebrate the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord; this is a holy day of obligation, and so in addition to the 7.30am and 12.30pm Masses, there will be a Solemn Mass at 6pm.
We begin our celebrations of the Ascension with Solemn Vespers of the Ascension on Wednesday 17 May at 6pm – this is a wonderful opportunity to join the prayer of the Church as we embark on the Solemnity.
